NOW I can start reading

I like reading but I seem to have trouble finishing books. I read Bossypants in 24 hours. I have two other books that I have started and they sit on my nightstand unfinished. Actually, one is now being used to prop up our computer tower. Not sure I understand why. When I re-booked our hotel for Washington D.C through, I became eligible for a FREE Amazon Kindle. It came in the mail on Friday and I dove right in!

I downloaded Pride and Prejudice because it was free and then purchased The Help because everyone and their mom has read it. I'm 6% done with it!

The yellow arrows are for my husband. Michelle's Kindle. MICHELLE'S KINDLE.

People who read, please give me suggetions for books to read. I'm not sure why I will be more dedicated to reading but I feel more motivated to read books since receiving the Kindle.  I wish their was a way to scan the unfinished books I already own onto the Kindle. C'mon technology...catch up!

And our June 08 book club(we're on FB if you want to join us) is reading What Alice Forgot.

I loved The Help. My other recent favorites are The Hunger Games series, The Kite Runner, Sarah's Key, Water for Elephants, Physick Book of Deliverance Dane, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. I just started A Thousand Splendid Suns. I love to read. :)
